Anyone interested in a collab for a web comic?
I've been wanting to do a web comic over one of my favorite books but I know its something I can not do alone, for one thing, I am terrible at doing back grounds, but I can put in tons of detail in main characters, my other weakness is people, I haven't practiced enough on drawing people so they turn out terrible lol if anyone has some time would you be interested in helping me out? the book is Fire Bringer by David Clement-Davis and if you haven't heard of it I would very much recommend reading it, its a very good book. The web comic will be posted here on deviant art in a new group under the name of the book, and also will be published in my blog and other sites, please leave a comment or leave me a note if you are interested!
the book focuses on a deer protagonist named Rannoch who was chosen by a prophecy to save his herd, possessing an oak leaf birth mark on his forehead and a special power, Rannoch and his friends have to overcome so many hardships and dangers in order to save the lowlands. Its a pretty amazing book

Not to be rude... but, these are basically a deer and a pony breed......
Deer Ponies, are a thing... like deer with pony bodies. Sure you can breed deer and ponies to make a deer ponies, but you can also make deer that are in the shape of ponies. really you can make almost anything with a pony body.
is this closed or open? and do you have to credit?
I believe it's open, just there are some separate closed 'herds' with specific traits within the group... really it's all for the love of donies.

Ah, crap... I made a deer that's a transgender girl... She wouldn't be counted with the whole "No other bucks in the herd" rule, right?
She still has horns so...
Nah. As long as he(she) has no intentions of stealing the does, it will be fine.
